Emily is returning to the fringe ths year with two separate performances in the Bell Street United church

her acclaimed production “Into the Amazon” Friday 2pm – 2.45pm  and “Bach & At the turning of the World” Sunday evening 6.30pm  – 7.15pm

“Into the Amazon” is an innovative solo cello production inspired and initiated by Emily’s experience of living and working with the Xavante, an indigenous community of the Amazon with a tradition of singing at the core of their culture. Her multi tracked ‘cello composition transmits to the audience an experience of a day from dawn to dusk and takes the audience on a musical adventure.

“Bach & At the turning f the World” Commencing with Bach virtuoso cellist Emily Burridge incorporates looping technology to recreate her multi tracked compositions.
